Martiria is an epic/doom metal
rock band formed back in the '80s and re-founded (after
a long pause) in 2002. Seven album published (last one R-Evolution, with ex Black Sabbath Vinny Appice - 2014).
The band was formed back in the '80s. At the beginning the
band was very much oriented towards Doom/Metal sounds such
as: early Candlemass and Black Sabbath. After releasing
just a few demos and featuring various musicians, in 1998
the members of the group decide to take a break for a while

La epic metal band italiana Martiria annuncia “Timeless”, una compilation dei loro più grandi successi raccolti dalla loro intera discografia. La pubblicazione è prevista per il 17 febbraio attraverso ScreamLoud Records, e include una cover di “Spiral Architect” dei leggendari Black Sabbath. Tutte le canzoni sono state mixate e rimasterizzate Digitall Studio, e alcune parti sono state cantate e suonate di nuovo dalla band.
Con oltre un’ora del loro incredibile sound, con atmosfere epiche e ritmi potenti, i fan dei Martiria ora potranno ascoltarli su tutte le piattaforme digitali. La formazione comprende il mastermind e chitarrista Andy Menario, Derek Maniscalco al basso, Rick Anderson aka Damien King III dalla leggenda di Warlord, e il paroliere Marco Capelli, insieme al super ospite in alcune canzoni: il mostro della batteria Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath e Dio).
